10.30 am Every Sunday
1st Sunday each month: Creative Worship, led by a team of laity often in collaboration with clergy.
2nd & 4th Sunday: Holy Communion
3rd Sunday: Morning worship, often with a Baptism
5th Sunday: Morning Worship
All services are in a Common Worship format i.e. in today's English. Music is a blend of traditional hymns with modern songs and choruses. We have a worship group sharing music provision with the occasional organist.
Children
The 'Seekers' group for ages 4 and upwards meets at the same time as morning service during school term-time, except for 1st Sundays when we all worship together.
We have a children's corner in church with some toys for quiet play by younger children and room for adults to sit with them.
Hospitality
Coffee & tea is served after worship every Sunday in the south transept.

There are both afternoon and evening groups on different days.
Those wishing to join a group should contact Revd Phil White.
Weddings
St James is a beautiful church for a wedding and needs to be seen to be appreciated. But what makes a wedding is the bride, the groom and the marriage promises made in the sight of God.
To the right is a picture of Sarah who was married at St James (before the renovations).
