We had a really good 'Open Afternoon' on 13th June 2009 when many people came to see the sort of things that happen here as well as viewing our newly tiled Church floor.
There were demonstrations of activities that happen at St James Arts Centre as well as performances from our music groups and a children's school drama group.
Watch out for a possible further celebration day next year!
We will be holding four 'Creative Family Fun' sessions in the Spring Bank Holiday for parents and children aged 3 to 12 years, run by Dawn Brookes and Tracey Holdsworth, based on an animal theme.
The sessions will be on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd June from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 4 pm each day - activities will be:-
1st June - 10-12pm..... Animal Masks 2-4pm..... Animal Print
2nd June - 10-12pm..... Animal Sculptures 2-4pm..... Animal Windsocks
Children will be given a FREE craft bag to take home to carryon their creative fun!
